Silver Prices Declined By 3.7 Percent Last Week

Silver prices declined by 3.7 percent last week while it declined further by 0.4 percent on Monday to close at $16.5 per ounce.

On the MCX, silver prices declined by 2 percent last week to close at Rs.39457 per kg.

We expect gold prices to trade lower today on account of stronger dollar index while the possibility of the rate hike this year by the US FED are push factors in the near term.

ON the MCX, gold prices are expected to trade lower today; international markets are trading lower by 0.3 percent at $1272 per ounce.
